The articulations for the viability of the vote on the pension reform will continue. Already in the Committee of Consumer Protection the highlight is for the Public Hearing on the application of fines by the Regional Council of Pharmacy of the State of São Paulo to clinics and doctors’ offices.

Another relevant topic for the health sector is the proposal that addresses the requirements for corporations and cooperatives to operate in the insurance market. (PL 3139/15). This week, the special commission that will analyze the project will promote a public hearing with the presence of the Regional Attorney of the 1st Region, Luiz Augusto Santos Lima; the Attorney General of Consumer Protection of the Public Ministry of MG, Amauri Artimos da Matta; and Carlos Alberto de Paula, Director of Supervision of Conduct of the Private Insurance Superintendence (Susep).

Also be set aside for the installation and election of the Chairman and Vice-Presidents of the special Co-operation on Regulatory Agencies scheduled for Tuesday; and for the public hearing of the Participative Legislation Committee in conjunction with the Social Security and Family Commission and Labor, Administration and Public Service co-operation to discuss the closure of the Popular Pharmacy – Own Network Program (PFP-RP). Among those invited were the president of the National Health Council, Ronald Ferreira dos Santos; and the CEO of Sindusfarma, Nelson Mussolini.

In the Federal Senate, the highlights of the Plenary agenda are due to the project on counterparts of cultural productions encouraged; of House Substitute 6, of 2016, to Senate Bill 135, of 2010, which establishes the Statute of Private Security and Security of Financial Institutions; Discussion, in the first round, of the Proposed Amendment to Constitution No. 29, of 2017, by Senator Raimundo Lira and other Senators, which amends art. 159 of the Federal Constitution to discipline the distribution of resources by the Union to the Municipal Participation Fund (FPM); Discussion, in a single shift, of Draft Legislative Decree No. 42 of 2015 (No. 1,442 / 2014, in the Chamber of Deputies), which supports provisions of Ordinance No. 1,253, of 2013, of the Ministry of Health, which amends the Table of Procedures , Drugs, Orthoses, Prostheses and Special Materials of the Unified Health System (restricts the performance of mammographic exams); and a one-on-one discussion of Senate Bill No. 612 of 2011 by Senator Marta Suplicy, which amends arts. 1,723 and 1,726 of the Civil Code, to allow the legal recognition of the stable union between people of the same sex.

In the commissions, PLS 299/2016 – by Senador Telmário Mota (PTB / RR), which amends Law No. 6,437, of August 20, 1977, prohibits the reuse of non-reprocessable health products included in the agenda of the social affairs commission and the debate on internet crime in the science and technology commission.
