The Brazilian government published a Provisional Measure (804/2017) on 29 September 2017 that extends the deadline for taxpayers to enroll in the Special Tax Regularization Program – PERT, a tax amnesty that allows taxpayers to settle their outstanding federal tax liabilities.
The new PM extends the deadline for submitting an application to participate in the PERT from 29 September 2017 to 31 October 2017. The taxpayers joining the program in October must pay tax installments corresponding to August, September and October at the time of enrolment.
