Leonardo Milanez Villela joined Correia da Silva as a Partner of the Tax Area and Thais Carloni, as Consultant.

We have pleased to announce our new partner, Leonardo Milanez Villela. Dr. Leonardo is a lawyer with more than ten years of experience in advising companies on domestic and international tax matters related to direct, indirect, customs and social security taxes. Under the leadership of Dr. Leonardo, the tax area of Correia da Silva will have a more complete portfolio of solutions and services, such as advice on national and international tax planning, customs tax consulting, strategic action in complex tax litigation and assistance in obtaining tax regimes, reduction of rates and special regimes of taxation. With experience gained from renowned offices and solid accounting knowledge, Dr. Leonardo has a specialization in Tax Law from IBET, International Taxation from FIPECAFI and MBA in Tax Management from FIPECAFI. He´s Master in Tax Law by PUC / SP.

Thais Carloni is surely one of the main references in South American market of Compliance, Ethics and Business Integrity. He has worked for more than 20 years in the implementation of policies and programs in these areas. She was responsible for profound changes in how to manage suppliers and employees. Thais Carloni is a member of Correia da Silva Advogados’ team as a consultant, acting jointly with partner Maíra de Campos Pinheiro.
